Discussion(Article: 'Last Years of the LTTE De-Facto State') Maham (12 Jul. 2012) I wish to congratulate N Malathi for her commendable effort to document the last moments of our liberation struggle. As said there 'isolated in our struggle and condemned by the world opinion' for their selfish geo-political reasons, it becomes the duty of the educated and capable members of the Tamil Diaspora to tell 'our side of the story'. Therefore our people should support such pioneerig works by buying such publications and encouraging members of the other communities to buy and read them. Thus we must try to bring a widespread awareness of our struggle among all people. In turn that will help our liberation. More and more of such documentation is our urgent need and resposibility. Anonymous (12 Jul. 2012) whats her initial N stand for? I remember her last years of ltte rule and used to wonder what happened to her.Now surfaced with her book.I have nothing but tears in my eyes and lump in my throat thinking of those who perished to the buchers of tamils.Wonder how she left vanni and how she left before the demise of tamil rule of their land. Tamilan (13 Jul. 2012) No matter how we write or how do we say; it took thirty some years to the western world to decide to have two or one government in that island to do business as they wanted. Finally they decided just one. Then by passed all human welfare; used all illegal weapons to wipe out one nation with a longest history of culture. UN panel studies on Syrian rebels to find out how much land they control now and how much of their fighting power to arm them more aggressively. Tamil freedom fighters proved all of these to this same panel. They had a government with all three forces, police and juridical system. They care of their citizen welfare parallel to their war fare. The end can not have a government without corruption. LTTE did not have this in their government. Sengodan.M (14 Jul. 2012) A most welcome publication. One would wish that there will be more of these in due course. Who on Earth decides as to which Nation will have a recognised State and which will not? The only way for the Eelam Tamils to redeem themselves is to unite with ALL the nations without state that are struggling for liberation and ALL oppressed peoples on Earth.
