In a day and age when information is only a keyboard tap away what is the value of such articles? Isn't this an expression of thumb-twiddling of some one who has lost the zest for life?
Or on a charitable note is the 'info gatherer' taking the mickey?
Menuka deserves a reply. I guess that Menuka is an admirer of Sepala Ekanayake's antics. Zest for life? - what an euphemistic phrase to disguise air piracy, drug addiction and terrorism? You must be joking.
But, Menuka should clearly read what I have written. I have explained in the article why wrote it. The two links provided by Menuka, do not provide ample details relating to Sepala Ekanayake's role as a drug courier and one of the key persons in the July 1983 Welikada prison massacre. The details I provided from Tribune weekly is hardly accessible now in online.
The views expressed by S.P.Amarasingam and R.Kahawita drastically differs from Menuka's 'zest for life' varnishing. Some folks don't like the truth to be told.
