Nobel prizes are awarded not for the past performances but also see in the awardee a ray of hope for rest of the world to look up to as cheer leaders. By simply articulating the need for minorites to have equal rights as majorities, ASK has elevated her standing in the world of neglected eelam tamils world over their rights restored as equal citizens anywhere let alone in ceylon which has been ignored for more than 70 years inspite of the fact that they ruled themselves in the homeland now being systematicaly turned into a military controlled tamileelam.
Time for taking the cue from Dr VK to excercise their birth rights and not to be cowed down by rajas and rajas who are only a passing phase of the eelam tamils's struggle for their democratric rights of self determination if not separate state within united union of regions.
